Our Team
About two dozen full-time staff members at Transcona Veterinary Hospital are involved in caring for your pet, ranging from Registered Animal Health Technologists to receptionists to animal health assistants. Each one has a passion for animal health and wellness – and most are pet owners, too! Our technologists have undergone two years of training and are accredited by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.
Our animal health assistants and receptionists have also taken courses and training in their areas of expertise, or have volunteered their time, learning their profession on the job. These staff members can often be seen interacting with pets in the waiting room, cuddling animals as they’re prepared for surgery, or stroking pets’ heads and backs while they’re being tended to by a doctor.
